Elijah's Second Birthday was a huge success. Fortunately our backyard was almost completed the day before the party; we had the patio ready and grass for the kids to play on.
The party started at 12:00 and guests started to arrive right on time. Elijah played with his balloons and greeted everyone as they arrived.
We were able to visit for an hour and then at 1:00 Elijah's Thomas the Train arrived for the kids (and adults) to ride on. Elijah was having such a good time that he never got off to take a break. He rode on the train for an hour straight!
Most of the time he sat next to his cousin Joee. As the driver started the train he would yell "ALL ABOARD!" and the next thing I knew Elijah would put his hand over his mouth and repeat "All Aboard"! It was the cutest thing ever.
At 2:00 the train ride was over and it was now time for lunch. The kids played on the jumper and had otter pops, too.
At 3:00 we were ready for presents and cake. We sang Happy Birthday to Elijah 
and he tried to blow out the candles but needed a little help from Matthew.

Elijah had such a great day with all his family here to celebrate his birthday in our new home.
