Time for Dodger Baseball!

Eddie and I were watching a Dodger game against the San Diego Padres. They showed some kids playing in a sandy area, and I asked Eddie if that was always there and he looked at me and replied, "Yes, duh!" How was I supposed to know! But then I got to thnking... how fun would that be to take the kids, they can play in the sand and we can watch the game at the same time. So we made plans to go to the game on the last day of school and stay the night in a hotel. We were all really excited!

The day was finally here! We picked up the kids early from school and drove out to San Diego for the 12 o'clock game. We got there, put the kids Dodger shirts on and went to find our seats.

We were in the very front row and had a pretty decent view of the game. All of the kids were playing in the sand, the big boys and Lexi. The game finally started and things were going well, until...the Padres scored 2 home runs in the first inning. They started shooting off fireworks right next to us and Elijah lost it! He cam running to me and Eddie crying and in shock! He held onto me so tight and wouldn't let me put him down. So much for playing in the sand!
By the end of the game, Elijah and Lexi were getting cranky and tired. Lexi fell asleep in my arms. The boys were anxious to go swimming at the pool, so we decided to leave a little earlier than we planned but it was still a lot of fun!

Oh, and the Dodgers lost! So we didn't miss much at the end of the game! =)
